Has anyone on the forum renovated or used a company to renovate their brass door handles. Ours are looking very tarnished.  We  don’t want to replace them but would like them to look refreshed once again. Help!

You could try 'Brasso' which they sell in Iceland. However the one they sold had the individual sheets covered in brasso where as the tub of just the cream on its own is better imo.

Once you start down the Brasso route, you will have a Tiger by the tail, I cleaned the lock on our front door now I have to clean it every week, even then the duster is black with "dirt". It looks lovely....but!

I didn't know that but to be honest, the cost of refurbing them will probably be the same or more than getting new handles. I would be interested to hear if I'm wrong as some of mine are a bit tatty.

Very strange option, but use tomato ketchup!  Smother it on, leave several minutes the buff off.  Shockingly it works!
