Hi arriving in Pinar De Campoverde on 27 April, we are renting a beautiful villa but we won’t have a car, what can we do during the day , and can anyone suggest evenings out wineing and dining. Thankyou

I have had a quick search on this site for restaurants and entertainment under Pinar and few posts but all seem to recommend places you would need a car to get to. Public transport is very limited. I would highly recommend hiring a car but I don´t know that town well.

We live in Campoverde.  There is a good selection of bars and restaurants here, either along the Main Street (in the old part of the village) or on the strip (in the new part of the village).  You will find live entertainment in some of them in the evening and some hold quiz afternoons and evenings.  You can walk / cycle around the village and the surrounding orange groves.  There is a lovely natural area on the edge of the village called the Rio Seco where you can walk along a dry riverbed.  It is well signposted, there is a cave to discover and also a very pretty open-air chapel.  There is a bus that has a limited service in April but will take you into Pilar de La Horadada (the nearest town), from where you can get on other buses to take you further afield. You could always get a taxi back to Campoverde.  The same goes for the local beaches - you could get a taxi.  I hope this helps!
