Hi Paolo
I am actually an Irish passport holder; my wife has a British passport. We purchased a property locally which cost €525,000. Was purchased just in my name as we needed a military certificate which did not come through in time. We have a Padron and wanted to take to the next stage.
We have a local solicitor, but they do not give clear advice. I have to book a Residency interview and then add my wife later.
The latest form them says:
- You must have a private medical insurance and you must send the policy to us and receipt of payment.
- Updated Padron Certificate (now that you are registered at the Padro, just pop into the Town Hall delegation at Pinar de Campoverde and they will issue a new in 5 minutes. Remember to take your passport)
I also have to show that I have €9,000 in my bank account. Later we apparently need a translation of our marriage certificate and a furtehr €15,000 for my wife.
I just want to be sure what I am being told is correct as it's gradually changed.
Regards,
David
