Poor Donkey😣. Maybe a charity would give him a home?

Thank you regarding the Easy Horse Rescue but I contacted them a couple months ago and they are full. They have 150 donkeys there.

Hi, don't know if these can help, they used to come to Spain quite a lot. Worth contacting them for advice. Devon donkey sanctuary in Sidmouth, Devon.

Hi Shirley
How sad 😢. This is a bit of a long shot, but I’m betting you’ll consider anything
Contact any nearby livery/ equestrian centres. Places I’ve liveried at in the past (a lifetime ago 😉) had a donkey on the yard. They were to keep horses that, for whatever reason, we’re needing to live outside the herd; it provided company and prevented the horse being lonely/ distressed. A win win situation
If they can’t offer a home, they may well know of someone.
Things are possibly very different in Spain but might be worth a shot. Good luck 🤞🤪🥂

Please don’t abandon him, poor creature. What will happen if you cannot find anywhere?

I’m delighted to hear that. Our two little feral cats were rescued from a field where their only help snd companion was a donkey; whom I suspect of having trodden on a tail as one has a kinked end to her tail!
