I HAVE BEEN INFORMED THAT THERE IS A GYPSY AREA IN CALLE JUMILLA PINOSO WHERE THERE IS A LARGE PROBLEM WITH DRUGS AND VIOLENT BEHAVIOUR . IS THIS TRUE AS I HAVE FOUND AN APARTMENT IN THIS AREA WHICH I WOULD LIKE TO BUY. HOWEVER IF THERE IS A PROBLEM THAT I HAVE MENTIONED I DO NOT WANT TO BUY. COULD SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME AND LET ME KNOW IF THE ABOVE IS TRUE,

Sorry I didn't mean to shout. I apologise. I just want to know if this is a safe area to live in. I am 70 years old and single and would be very vulnerable in an unsafe area. Could you please advise me if this would be a safe place for me to live in. Once again I apologise for my unintentional shouting

no need to say sorry.I have lived here for well over 20 yrs. & although I know your area well, I feel (in my opinion) You will feel safe inland. (relatively compared to the beach-set expats tourist areas). Feel free to PM me for info. (as you are a "youngster") obviously, it´s my opinion.

Thank you so much for your help in clarifying the situation. The information re street violence and drug peddling being rampant in this area actually came from a Real Estate Agent who is handling the property, I, therefore, contacted another Real Estate Agent who said that the information that I had received was baloney.
So many thanks for you taking your time to write to me, I really appreciate it and I take it that you would agree that I was very badly informed about this area and that it is an awful slur on the reputation of the inhabitants of this area an on Pinoso too. Many thanks again

I wonder if the property sellers know what their estate agent is telling potential buyers? Sounds like the agent has an ulterior motive...................
