Hi Danny

How did the move go? We are relocating this august and the anxiety has set in lol. My husband is retiring from the military and our sons 18 and 25 are coming with us. They want to start a tyre and car services business (eventually)once we navigate the landscape. We may need to short term rent unt...

...il house completed so still lots of spinning plates for us. I want the move for my 18 year old to be smooth he鈥檚 very quiet and I鈥檓 worried how he will settle in? 馃嚠馃嚜 Any tips?

We finally got in this month after delays with covid etc. My eldest (17) works with me, and since we鈥檝e been renting, he hasn鈥檛 had a chance to make any friends. He was the one I was worried about moving out here, but he loves it in Spain, and wouldn鈥檛 move back.

He flies back now and then to see mates, and internet keeps him up to date daily. I think once they speak spanish and go out, it makes it easier for them. I鈥檓 sure your son will be fine. If you need anything, just message.

All the best

Danny

Thanks Danny that鈥檚 given me some reassurance hopefully we will complete on time! We are all taking Spanish lessons now and I鈥檓 hoping that will help him. He鈥檚  a gamer so as you say as long as internet works lol we are back in May to pick tiles etc and look into a short term rental. Hopefully get to see you on the end the other side!  馃槵

Best

Hi dannny

Well it鈥檚 been a hard move and as suspected my teenager is home sick.  Like you did we are renting as house build delayed so likely to be here in limbo until Christmas. He is really homesick mainly for his friends so going to give your idea a go and let him fly home as often as possible. I鈥檓 just looking for any social outlet for him in pinoso or sax where we are now any ideas?
