We have finally got our appointment for our Padrón. Lots of mixed views on what happens after we get this.   It seems that things change and different people have done different things or in different order, so would value some helpful advice. Do we have to go to police for residency card or do we get this with Padrón? If we have to go to police, do we make an appointment? Also do we need an appointment with social services in Torrevieja to register for health care, or can we just go to their office. Have looked on there website, but couldn’t see how to make appointment.  Maybe just looking in wrong place????
thank you in advance for your help..

Hallo iedereen

Alvast bedankt   Mvg Mieke

Thank you for that. We did advice from two solicitors, both told us different things and cost more than the people you have suggested. Will look into them.

Yes have read Jim’s guide to everything about residency, maybe missed bit related to my particular question. But will check them out again. Thank you

You will probably be given a temporary padron as part of applying for Residency but I'm another Uma fan and would simply ring her up and hand everything over to her, so much easier.
