Would like some advice please. My husband is of retirement age and has the S1 form, I have read that as his dependent I am entitled to piggyback off his S1. We are going to apply for Residencia and I wondered if I needed to do anything when we apply or will I be automatically added to his. TIA

Yes you are entitled but you will need your own S1 which your OH will have to request on your behalf.

Really he should have done it when he applied for his and they would have both come together.

Thank you, let’s hope it doesn’t take too long to come. Have only just found out that I can use his S1 form.

DWP won't automatically add a spouse to an S1 - it's best to ask them.
