Visiting Playa Flamenca from Sat 23.4. I will be house hunting (mum 63 yrs) and it would be really great if my daughter (29yrs) could have social opportunities/ get together with people around her own age. Please advise any groups/ contacts that she could join in with while in Playa Flamenca. Much appreciated, thanks

Before you start your house hunting it may help you to have a look at the Citizens Advice Bureau Spain website as many things have changed for Brits. since the 1st January this year, especially income and health stuff. If you are to do any driving here then it may help to have a look at the N332 website. It is run in collaboration with officers of the Guardia Civil for English speaking people and has an English version of the Spanish equivalent of the Highway Code.

If she likes keeping fit there are daily groups Keep Fit Zumba and Yoga on the promenade at Play Flamenca ...and usually we go for a coffee and a chat ...mainly over 60's...or even over 70...

Hi dont have a map ...but easy to find just go down to the sea at Playa Flamenca ...there is a lovely paved area in front of a few cafes
Classes are daily at 9.00 10.00 11.00 generally Keep fit followed by Zumba
A friend goes to the Keep Fit ..says its great and i go to the Zumba ...Brilliant ...quite Spanish with the music and a many go for a coffee and a natter...and have days out etc....and the cost is by donation ...most pay 3/4 euros for 45 mins
