This might seem an odd message but got several pictures to hang in my apartment iv tried the picture hooks u get in uk but no good as bend when trying to hammer into wall iv tried the stick on hangers but they dont seem to hold whats best im thinking il need to use screws with raw plugs any one got any advice cheers

It's because the long nails go through the plaster and come up against the bricks they use on internal walls in Spain, which are pretty hard, even for a masonary drill.
If you go to Leroy Merlin they have a selection of picture hanging hooks and pins. I find the ones with 4 x short nails already in the hook are fine, they take a good weight and do not go too far into the plaster. Any ferretería will have a similar range to Leroy.
Anything that is heavy I drill a hole and use a plastic plug/screw.
