Hi we’re travelling to playa flamenca from Santander on 27th November. We will be stopping overnight possibly A little over half way through the journey. Could anyone recommend a hotel on or near the motorway that we stay.

A real bang for the buck is this place http://hotelplazalasmatas.com if you book ahead (47,- room only) Breakfast is extra and reasonable. Covered parking in basement. There are 2 restaurants nearby, a Pizzeria a 10 mins. walk away (La Cupula) The owner George speaks English. Advance reservation advisable 626 482 337. Alternative El Kiosko (5 mins. walk, family run) Very good food, nice people.
Cheap filling station 2 kms. ahead (Carrefour shopping center)
Continue on the M50 and exit for A3. Mind rush hours (7.00-9.30am and 6.00 to 8.00pm).
