Hello,
I have double citizenship, EU & Canadian and we would like to buy an apartment in Costa Blanca.
Would I have the same rights as any EU citizen?
If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated.

If you've got a passport issued by an EU member state, then yes.

The answer is yes. I am from Northern Ireland so am British but I have dual nationality because I was born on the island of Ireland. I hold an Irish passport so Brexit is less of a worry as being both British and Irish I will still be an EU citizen after the U.K. goes it alone.

I have dual nationality (British and Canadian) and hold passports for both countries. I also have a Spanish NIE number and Spanish bank account.
We have a villa in Costa Blanca that we bought about 12 years ago. When I was buying the property with the assistance of a property agent, they suggested that I do not show the Canadian Passport for any ID and only use the British one as it could cause complications particularly with any Spanish authorities.
My husband, who is Canadian, could not have his name put on the property as a joint owner. We tried and had a lawyer look into it for us, but no go.

I'm also in your position John. Takes a bit of worry out of the whole Brexit thing.
