Reupholstering vs new bed sofa

I have a 3 seater bed sofa which is 16 yrs old. It is still extremely comfortable both as a sofa and a bed. The fabric is very dated however and I have been wondering about getting it reupholstered or loose covers made up. Would like suggestions of where I might get this done please. Cost of reupholstering vs new purchase is often a dilemma as well. Any ideas of how much this service may cost would also be very helpful. Thank you.
