Lesley, you won't find an English speaking police station. There might be a few officials who speak English, but I very much doubt whoever answers the phone will do so.
If it's the national police you want to contact, you could try their online contact form:

If it's the Guardia, you could try email:
If it's the local police, your town hall website should have contact details.
