Non resident tax query

Hi All,

I know there has been a few topics on the non resident tax and they have been very informative. However as we have a mortgage in Spain I am wondering if it is automatically deducted? I noticed on one of Jims post it states that you are already in the system if you have a mortgage. I contacted my bank via email a few days ago but as yet I have had no clarifictation. We have the property about 18 months now and dont rent the property out.

The property owner has to declare and pay NR tax - it isn't done automatically.
