Leroy and La Florida ferreteria (and I imagone most ferreterias) sell fire extinguers and blankets. You can make your own 1st aid kit box. We got our plaque via La Forida but it was years ago and much cheaper. You can order them online now, but I will have to ask my friend for the website.

Thank you it just seems a lot for the plaque. If I have to pay that amount I will. The Civil Guardia now has to be done on the Internet I went and was given a form and told to scan the information.

Thanks again for your help  Grace

I recently (back end of last year) opted to renew the plaque - previously, it was sorted by the company managing the property and IIRC cost about 25 Euros and was made of some form of plastic. I mistakenly mounted it on the outside of the property and in the sun such that over the course of a number of years it had faded to the extent that the licence number was barely visible.

I took the plunge and used the Ferreteria at La Florida - as you mention, they don't do them themselves but send the details away and someone else does them before sending them to the store. If my memory serves me right, I think it's actually 85 Euros for the service.

The one thing I would say is the quality of the plaque is much better - solid perspex (I think) and I've since mounted it in a slightly more sheltered position than the previous one - I'd expect it to last at least 10+ years so when you look at it that way it's not really that much of an annual cost.

Thank you I think I will just have to go back next week x
