Hi all thinking of getting a pellet burner. Our living room/kitchen.is quite big and although we have large air con unit it's just not enough heat from air con. I presume it needs to go on an outside wall. Do I need permission to install it. Any recommendations for purchase and installation. Thanks

You will  need to contact  your Community  President,  check  your Community  to see if any other Properties  have them installed,  Outlet/Chimney  will  need to rise above  Highest  part of Properties,

Make sure their is Pocket  installed  in  the  flue to allow for  cleaning purposes,  Pocket or  small  access. NO  90 degree bends,   45  degrees  bends  only,

Dry  Storage  for  pellets  is required, if Pellets  get Damp   can  fall apart.

Pellet burner  best options  less work  cleaning  them out

But talk with President  first

Hi Akelly,

I recommend Warren at Budget Burners for the supply and installation of a pellet burner:

https://budgetburners.com/

Please note that they have recently moved premises, so they are no longer at the Dunas commercial centre on La Marina urbanisation, and are now located in the village centre of San Fulgencio - I've added a map to this post.

In terms of installation, if you're happy to have the flue pipe inside the room, you can opt for the black, single skin, so you will also get some radiant heat from the pipe.  I didn't want that in our lounge, so our flue goes straight to the outside from the side of the burner, but we then paid extra for a double-skin, stainless steel, external flue.

Kind regards,

Kim
