Can someone please tell me where the Padron office in Playa Flamenca is?  Do you need an appointment and which documents do you have to take.  TIA

For the Padron you can usually go into the  local Town Hall - Best to go in there first and ask what documents you need to bring.

As Jan says it's at the Playa Flamenca Town Hall. Doors open at 8.30, take a ticket and wait for the Padron Office opening at 9.00, when it is busy they take the tickets away and when they have had enough for one day the next number is first the next day, no guarantee you will be seen the day you go. If you are planning on applying for Residencia your Padron needs to be dated within three months of your Residencia application. You will need to bring passports for each person going on the Padron, your NIE Certificates and proof of address, usually your property deeds.

Got the Padron.  She photocopied passport and a few pages of the escritura.  Nothing else was needed.  It is valid for 3 months and she kept asking whether I am planning to stay on a permanent basis.  I said yes but what would happen if I don’t apply for residencia?  Still undecided.

It's valid until they call on you to renew it - probably after five years.

If you don't get residencia, then you're likely to have a problem after Brexit.

Hi Jim

She said it was a temporary Padron valid for 3 months.  If you are a resident it is valid for 5 years.  What is stopping me from becoming a resident is the low tax threshold in Spain.  I might be worse off.

That's the first I've ever heard of such an arrangement.

I'd point out that you don't need residencia to be a fiscal resident. You're a fiscal resident if you live here for 183 days or more a year, and are breaking the law and making yourself subject to penalties if you don't do a tax return for your first year of fiscal residency.
