Cuidad Quesada my new home

Have sold my property in the north of Alicante & just purchased a new one in Quesada,an area quite new to me but it is a new adventure.Haven't a clue about anything except everyone I asked was very complimentary & said it was a lovely place.Anyway I am committed,love the home I will be moving into in Jardin Marabu 3,which is just an address to me at this moment.In a rental until I complete shortly so asking for advice.Obviously I am aware that the northern Costa Blanca has such good transport links for non drivers like the tram & regular buses to all over but I think I can cope.Any advice will be most welcome as I want to feel this is my new permanent home where I feel comfortable & involved.

Hi we have as I have previously mention bought a holiday villa in Alfaz del pi. The actual area is Estocolmo can anyone tell me about the area ie places for a good evening out, good restaurants. Any expats groups or social events we may be able to find out about, local festivals, anything really as we hope to make it our permanent home in 5 years.

I lived in Alfaz for many years until recently.Sorry never heard of that area! Did you mean"Scandinavia"?There are lots of very nice bars,restaurants etc.& always something to get involved in.I belonged to the amateur dramatic group at onetime & there is a great computer club meets on a Saturday morning at Sierra Bernia School,run by Dutch but speaking English & very friendly as are most groups in Alfaz The Companions group meets in Albir,Pensioners Club & U3A in Alfaz. .It is in 2 parts,Albir is the beach area where you find far more holiday homes & a lot more Brits.Alfaz is more residential,less British but plenty of German,Dutch &,of course,Norwegians since it is known as "Little Norway".Great transport links,bus,tram & coach to airport etc. With Benidorm just down the coast you will have loads more on offer if that,s what you want.Just beware the huge number of Mobility Scooter riders there. At times I just wonder why I moved! You will enjoy it. best wishes.
