Hi,

can anyone recommend a solar company? What are the maintenance fees in keeping them in good working order? Also the approximate outlay and do you really save on bills?

Sorry so many questions.

I appreciate all who reply whether negative or positive comments.

It is such a minefield out there regarding these companies.

Thanks again.

We have 9 x 450kw panels. We've had them 10 months. We also had Solar at our previous house. They definitely save money but you have to be mindful when using electricity. In other words we don't use appliances if there's no sun. This is to get the most of it. You get an app to see how much the panels are producing

Hi Jane99,

thank you for your reply much appreciated. How did you go about selecting your provider?

And is it better to have them from your electricity company?

Thanks once again.

I went with iberdrola as they told me they would handle applying for the grant on my behalf
