When you say you took your "docs" to Dolores medical centre, was that the registration letter you received from INSS in exchange for your S1s?
So many permutations, depending on your individual S1 status and whether you registered them correctly, that it's impossible to be definitive, but it's good that you've already made contact with NHSBSA.

Si Kimmy wifey is only a youngster of 52 so she got it on me. I think it was the form from local INSS we took to Dolores as you say. I normally scan and copy all and store so i will search the filing cabinet for copies. Got a second email from UK saying almost the same as first so a bit worried. Time for a martini and a think, shaken not stirred as i am Scottish.
