How to apply for a Non-Lucrative visa (NLV) - Page 27

Hi All, 

I've been following this NLV thread for a few months and am applying through the Manchester Consulate.

I have a query in that Manchester are stating that you can use the S1 form instead of private med insurance. I had the S1 sent to me in June last year because I tried to get residencia through the 'withdrawel agreement', and wondered if I could still use that. 

I wouldn't want to lose residencia through a technicality  and wondered if anyone has had experience of using the S1.

Hi Cisco54,

After granting of the NLV and moving to Spain,  you apply for your residency (TIE CARD), for which you need to prove access to funded healthcare - if you're already entitled to the S1 and the Spanish Consulate are happy to grant the NLV on that basis, it will also be sufficient for residency.  When you arrive in Spain (or France if travelling overland) ensure that border control stamp your visa document to prove when you entered Schengen.

Can I ask a few questions, please:

Could you give me the email of who you used for the translation and apostle stamp, for £90?

Did you use cheat sheets for the  NLV, 790-052 and EX-01 forms as they are in Spanish and where did you get them?

You can download the forms on the consulate website in English. Can't remember who we used for translation but it has to be a sworn translator which is also on the website. We used Manchester consulate they were very helpful.

If you are travelling by shuttle please make sure they stamp your passport, otherwise it becomes an issue when obtaining you TIE.

For information on this visa link above, you can apply at spanish consulate in UK.  Then can apply fro Golden visa.

Thanks for your response. I`ve got the templates/cheat sheets from Manchester consulate website. Surprisingly Edinburgh doesn`t have any.
