It's a national obsession in Spain to make everything more complicated than it needs to be.

I have noticed if the public need any paperwork from the authorities we can go whistle, if we need to supply any paperwork omg its hurdle after hurdle, go to this office, then go to another office and woe betide if there is so much as syllable out of place. ...

...

If you weren’t always so negative about Spain, your comments would be of more interest. It’s getting very boring.

In the UK we’ve been given a small card with the vaccine batch code labels  stuck to it and the dates it was given.  Not sure yet if that will be enough to allow travel? An online vaccine visa a bit like an American or Australian visa would make more sense.

A google search will give you lots of information about the EU green vaccine passport, and how it’s likely to operate in Spain.

Hi Bobbie

I’d like to think so, but unlikely. I say that because my “card” only has my name, the date and the vaccine batch code, hand written, so clearly no uniformity here in the U.K.

Anything “paper” is easily manipulated and open to fraudulent use. I’ve already heard the locator form is being used in this way.

I’d guess technology will play its part here 🤪🥂

I have had both jabs. They did not stick the batch codes onto the card, I live in the north of the UK, but you are right I doubt if it will be of any use. Here’s hoping some sort of vaccine certification will be in place soon.

It must be unique to N Ireland to peel the label off the provided vaccine sheet and stick it on the card. This was at the hospital but some GP practices print up sticky labels with the batch codes to save the Doctor having to write it out every time. 😊

Even when your dog gets his vaccines they put the label from the vaccine into his book.

Cheers

Ah, but you’re paying handsomely for that 😄
