Wasn't sure where to post this. Property has really dark terracotta colour floor tiles. It makes the rooms look really dull. Looking for possible flooring options to cover this up with something brighter without the hassle of pulling them all up. Any suggestions? Recommendations?

You  can  put new tiles  down on  top  of  old tiles  just  use a  different   tile  adhesive  any good  tiles store  will stock  it.  You  will  need  to  cut  bottom  of  internal  doors.

But  first  get  a  tile and   but  down  on  floor  beside  Front and Rear  doors  to  check ✔  if  they  will  open  before  you  even decide  what  tile  you  will  use. That  paramount  before  you start and can do that  yourself.  As  Front  and Rear  doors  can  be  adjusted  upwards  but only slightly

Laminate flooring is available in Spain but as mentioned above you would need too trim doors etc.

I think laminate would be cheaper and easier. Thanks

We have just laid vinyl flooring, on top of our very cold and ugly floor tiles, throughout our house and didn't need to adjust any doors as it is only 1.2mm thick and is self adhesive.

The flooring comes in 900x150mm planks and looks like timber. Leroy Merlin at 14euro/m2 and there are numerous designs. It has transformed our house. Highly recommend.

I  would  not  like  to  put  Laminate   floor  in  Wet areas of  Apartment  .  Bathroom and kitchen.   This  product  is manufactured  out  of MDF  materials  in Short  Compressed   paper.  Any  water   or  dampness  of  any  kind  it   will  blister and Spring  up. It  is  not  recommended  to  glue it down. Solid  Timber  yes may  be  glued down. Remember  some  of  adhesives/glue   are  very  fast  acting  and  dry  very

This  Flooring  must  be  kept  at  10  cm/1/4  of inch from  end  walls  allows  for  expansion

I think we are talking about a different floor treatment. High-quality vynl laminate planks are waterproof but with a wood effect. I've seen a few YouTube videos where this has been done. It's not composite wood, which you are right would not be suitable for a bathroom. Cheers!
