getting UK apostilled in Spain

As part of the immigration process i need to get my childrens birth certificates apostilled.

I am already in Spain and trying to find out where this can be done in Spain

Any advice welcomed

Sorry, your header to your post suggests that you are and answers my question. The Home Office does Apostilles, you can't get them done here.

And don't pay anyone to do it for you, as they are only middlemen and charging you for what is a fairly straightforward process. The UK Gov website will tell you everything you need to know

Sorry if this is a dumb question but is the home office the same as an embassy and if so I assume it is only in Madrid?

No, an Embassy won't do it for you. You have to do it through the government department back in the UK. Only they can issue an apostille. The official UKgov/apostille website is the one to look at. There are plenty of firms advertising to do it for you, but it's an easy enough process although it takes a bit of time and also costs.....

I started to do this but wanted to check if there was an alternative solution. Plus you are right these third parties are charging 3 times the amount
