Sorry to add to your woes, but also bear in mind that from 1 January 2021, we lose our status as EU citizens and will likely be relegated to TCNs (Third Country Nationals). When seeking tax advice, it would be worth asking if the timing of your Spanish sale and new purchase is likely to be affected by that too.
