Hi Anne, we are in Monte Faro.  Most times are fine with us.  How about Monday or Tuesday about midday?  We can come down to Carbassi area.  What about Molly Malones?  If that doesn't suit we are open to anywhere.

Bobbie

Hola

My husband and I retired to Gran Alacant last year but spend quite a lot of time in Santa Pola.  I go to Spanish lessons in the civic centre in Santa Pola and also go to English / Spanish interchange in local bar there .  There are some English people in Santa Pola but there is definite...

...ly no expat community.  There are lots of other nationalities living there and enjoying the way of life; many of them speak English. Once you are here you will no doubt have a couple of local cafes that you will frequent and that is the way to find out what's going on.

Get in touch when you arrive and we can meet up if you like 🇪🇸

this is really helpful i am going to be renting a house for six months starting from september and i am really interested in all that you have posted i am hoping to continue with my spanish lessons and this post has let me know that i can continue with them within the community,  i will follow the post as i think they will prove helpful and informative thank you

Hi Suzanne,

How are you? Are you now living in Santa Pola and if so how are you finding it so far? We're still counting down the days and weeks to 2nd Feb when we come over there. It has been raining here all day again and we can't wait to get some sun on our backs.

Anyway I hope that it's working out well for you and look forward to hearing from you to find out how it's going.

Regards,

Russ

Hi Russ, have you moved yet? We have just moved to Perleta in Elche, still finding our feet, but loving it. I’m looking forward to meeting new friends, and finding Spanish lessons as soon as. It’s nice to hear from people going through the same experiences.. all the best .Lisa

Hi, what is the cost of the spanish lessons you go to, and where is the bar with the spanish English interchange please? Many thanks Lisa.
