Thanks Sharrie for your reply. I have managed to transfer monies from my bank in the UK but still cannot access on line account. Sometimes Bankia send me a paper statement but that is all a bit hit and miss? Good old Spain??? So it is a guessing game with regard to the account balance?. Planning to be there in June so hopefully sort things re online access then. No one in my town speaks English so a trifle difficult at the Bank but will try again with my limited Spanish??.

Hi Sheila. We had exactly the same problem. The answer was pop into your branch. A little difficult in the UK.

We had to take a trip to Spain. Our branch is El Altet. They managed to sort it for us. Maybe worth calling in there. Debora is very good and speaks enough English to help.
