Hi All

Can anyone recommend an ITV test centre in the Gran Alacant /Santa Pola area? Preferably that you have used before and would be good if they speak English as my Spanish is limited. Thanks.

We use Bob for services and repairs. You can find his details in the Gran Alacant Advertiser. He is Dutch and speaks perfect English . His garage is in Torrellano but he collects your car and drops it back off . I have attached details ....

I would recommend center in Redován. They charge less then around Santa Pola. Thay are fast, easy access and thay are less strict during the test.

I do not know if anyone there speaks English because I speak Spanish so it wasn't an issue for me.

I agree with the suggestion regarding Redovan although I would be surprised if they don't do as rigorous a test as everyone else. I have been there several times over the years with my car and scooter and they are happy to put up with my less than perfect Spanish. If you book an appointment on the website they do make an effort to get you in at the time you ask for even if it means putting you in front of someone who has been waiting. BTW....San Bartolomé are also quite highly regarded amongst us foreigners.

What I did notice last time I went was that they didn't check my seat belts or my horn.
