Couldn't agree more.

I have no problem with real clubs, we know who they are, it's a life commitment and I respect anyone who does that. I have never felt the need to join one but I would never entertain the idea of a make believe one, it's all or nothing.

A look at the "rules" for that one in particular tells me that I wouldn't go near it, no loss as they probably wouldn't want me either!

Back on subject, to the OP a search brought this

Scooter clubs

Well, as a bike fan, large or small, (currently 1200cc BMW), I started out on 75cc BSA Diana scooter when I was 16. (Now 70)

I would absolutely NOT join any club with a 'minimum engine size' restriction.

Sounds like a right bunch of tossers.

I'll bet they'll wear leather Stupid faux German helmets with eagles on, pointy boots and sunglasses inside.

Colloquially among *real* bikers as 'Harley Handbags'.

They usually wobble when they come to a bends and go round like a thruppenny bit. Probably just took the stabilizers off.

Best avoided. screw 'em.

Norm.

PS Nothing wrong with Harleys or Harley riders. (Just sayin'...)

I don't know which Rawhiders site you think you were looking at but those pictures are not from it

How about starting your own club or gathering for small bikes, scooters etc, there are some strange people and clique’s amongst bikers, I’ve had loads of bikes from classics to sports bikes and an Harley, I personally found the most welcoming groups tend to be the casual / informal meet up groups rather than organised club meets

If we change our U.K. licence to a Spanish licence do we keep our full motorcycle entitlement?

Relyat is correct but take care to check.

Legally you do get it but the Spanish Trafico (DVLC) often either adds or subtracts your entitlements.

I lost my C1 and no way could I get it back because I didn't check immediately the Spanish licence came through.
