I would imagine you are on a higher potencia of 5kw I reduced mine to 3.5kw because we were not far of that amount when we were not thier. It’s difficult because you don’t want to keep tripping and have to go to meters to reset it(someone told me Iberdrola charge €60 to come out to reset it) so you have to be careful what you use . Very easy to reset my wife was able to do it when out with her friends.we took photo of meter she FaceTimed me told her what to press she was chuffed. Probably not worth doing if you rent but mine is only used by my kids so they know what to do now good luck.

Thanks for the reply Ray, how do you check what power you are on, will it be on the bill? When we are next over we will check and find where the electricity office is and visit them. We have had the house for nearly two years, but haven't been since middle of Jan this year. I know from neighbours that 5he house had been rented out before we bought it although the sellers told us they never rented it our. Might be on a different tariff. I am with Iberdrola it’s called Potencia on your Bill not sure what they offer might be 5KW 4KW 3.5Kw not 100% sure of the exact KW. As I said check the temperature of you Tap Water  if you cannot put your hand under and keep it thier I would have the boiler temp reset that is a lot of wasted energy.good luck.

Just a thought we are with Iberdrola we get an email every month from them with the Bill we just open it and print off first page has all the info you need may be worth enquiring about when you call in.probably telling you how suck eggs now.
