Brown sauce, Marmite and fish paste * in Santa Pola? * (only in Santa Pola - just Santa Pola)

Has anyone found anywhere in Santa Pola that sells brown sauce, Marmite or fish paste please? I am not looking for advice as to where I *might* find them, thanks, just responses from people who have seen any of them in any shops here.

I have looked in Mercadona (Portugal Ave) and Mas y Mas. I will try Dialprix next. My final port of call will be Eroski.I can see jars of Bovril in Mercadon, but of course it is not the same. I have purchased tomato ketchup there, but cannot find brown sauce. I have found some pate but not fish paste.

Before anyone else replies, please read this post and read my responses to other replies. It would be much appreciated. It might also save you typing.

well all i know is that in torrevieja there is Iceland where they sell overseas products. also there is one in La marina

Hi Brian1042, there is an English supermarket on the top road of the La Marina Urb, if you come off the 332 and drive along the road, pass the first turning into the grey area and head on towards the police station. In between these points there is a sign about midway directing you to the supermarket. last time I used them, they had both brown sauce and marmite (I cant holiday without either) not sure about the fish paste though. Do you have a branch of Carrefour nearby, as the Torrevieja Carrefour has an English section which sells brown sauce and marmite.

There is now a Carrefour in Santa Pola near the bus station. All the English goodies you could want are in there ....

I personally buy HP brown sauce in Mas y Mas in Santa Ponsa. It is on the shelves above the freezer section facing the fresh fish counter at the end above frozen chips. I have no knowledge of marmite or fish paste.

Hi not sure if you are still looking but Stella28 is correct. I get my marmite and other bits from Carrefour opp Aldi. Due another jar this week :)

Its the very last isle at the back of the store. Not sure about the fish paste but if you have a good look they do most English sauces and condiments.
