We had a quote for supply and fit for air con units but quickly realised we could source the exact same units online at almost half the price. We are now thinking ideally we'd want to buy the units and just have someone fit them, rather than have a big company install. Would anyone have any experience of doing this or recommendations of tradesmen?

It is always best to obtain 3 or 4 quotes for any service connected to property, Always use a Recommended fitter or a Company that Supplies and fits as if in the unfortunate event of problems with appliances and you turn to Guarantee to repair or fix the issue with Appliances you will be Covered, It might state that in T&C or small print
