HI good evening everyone hope all well I am looking to build on the place I have brought nearly 2 years ago. People that have lived in Spain please help I am not sure which will be better to Build or a lodge or villa please advise with ideas. And recommendations for a trustworthy builder that can under take the project start to finish. I look forward hearing from yourselves many thanks.

Your post is not completely clear. Do you mean an extension to an existing property, or a new construction on some land you own?
In either case, you will need permission from the local Council/Ajuntamiento, and detailed plans from an Architect. Your first step would be to discuss in outline what you would like to do with the Architect who works for the Ajuntamiento as he will be able to advise you in principle as to whether your project is permissible. Assuming this is a site with no existing buildings, the likelihood or not of permission will largely rest on the designation of the land, ie rural or urban. If rural there are permitted development restrictions.
