I wrote the same message 15 years ago, retiring to Spain can any one give me advise...so I am glad to say...you will never get a better medical treatment than you get here..My husband was found to have prostrate cancer...with NO symptoms just by a blood test not related...the treatment he has had is second to none. I myself after having problems for back ache was tested for rheumatoid artheristous...and ostioartheriotos sure I have spelt them wrong...both prove clear, my sister in England has back problems and her Doctor will not send her for tests..i wont go into how you can  buy medication across the counter for these ailments..if you need any more advise just contact me...my estate agent when I asked her what do I do if I'm ill here in Spain...laughed and said you have the best medical care in the world here in Spain...and I agree..
