Too much wine and sun, and perhaps too little between the ears.

Love it!

A word of warning on entry back to the UK.

We arrived back to Edinburgh airport yesterday. At the self service passport control. Lots of people refused entry. They were asked if they had filled in the UK health form.  All replied no and were ushered away to fill in these forms. Obviously details are input to your passport when the form is completed.

That is good to know as I due to come over Oct 5th

And despite view of the UK

Scotland has the virus well under control

So far test track trace and isolate functioning at 98.2% thereby bring all outbreaks to date under control

Unfortunately we can not control our border with England who very soon be in serious trouble

Scotland currently one if the safest  in Europe

And if we were independent just like Norway which is the safest of all in the whole continent with only 267 deaths from the very beginning

Then Scotland no doubt would be in a similar position

Ah but for the incompetence of our neighbours

That is a bit ridiculous. Scotland has control of education, health and most of the levers that affect Covid response. we have done well where we have very rural poulations and true the Torries don't have a clue but I dont see how independene would make any difference. we make our own laws and responses already. I you must make excuses for independence at least make them sensible.

Here we go again.......another wannabe politician.

It's easy to slate the English and proportion blame.

I have lots of Scottish and Welsh friends and they never rant off like that. We are supposed to be the "United Kingdom"

The haters don't speak for the average Scot any more than the BNP speak for the average English person. Unfortunately the extreme views are more likely to be heard than the average person's.

Agreed but we are talking about an individual going off on one.......no need for it.

Hi Steve,

A helpful reminder, thank you - not just about the health form, but also that border controls are as much about electronic surveillance as they are about physical checks👍

Best wishes,

Kim

Was not supporting remarks in any way just pointing out that he does not speak for the majority of Scots. : )
