We have had Lobster both the small and medium ones for over a year, only drawback for us was not being able to call some family in Italy, it is OK for roaming there. Most people have whatsapp etc there so it is only a small problem there now.

One recommendation though if you intend to go to a foreign country using Lobster is to take all the lobster APN details (so you can enter them if necessary) or your phone may not log / roam onto the foreign network. The first time it happened I also had a sim from another network which I had sorted the previous year so I could call Lobster and resolve the issue.

Any of the locutarios, ie. Vodafone, Orange, Yoygo etc. will sell you a Pay as you Go SIM card without a contract. Just bring your passport & NIE. Very straightforward.

Yeah ditto we went to the medical centre at Guardamar opposite bus stn and they gave us temp SIP card for 6mths. You only need Padron, Passport and EHIC cards and job done wait for the call.

Well I got myself a Spanish mobile today and with all my legal paperwork except a valid EHIC, I headed to my local central salud, I did not really have to queue and within minutes was called by the receptionist, in my broken Spanish I asked about registering for a SIP number, I feel I was not completely understood and was sent away!!! Well I hope to return tomorrow with my British Spanish speaking translator! Fingers crossed!!!!! stay safe and healthy everyone.
