I think the 14 day quarantine has got something to do with it as it's not going to be reviewed until 29th of June. Bit too close to 1st of July.

News today, and a text from Jet2, confirms that the flights are cancelled up to 15 July. So they take your money (hundreds of people affected) probably knowing that there is not much chance of flying. I fell for it, I admit, because I'm quite keen to visit my empty property but now it's in the balance again. I'm going to hold out for a refund which, they say, will be discussed in the weeks to come.
Chances are I will forget the whole thing and maybe plan for a September visit. I hated being there in July last year anyway - I couldn't sleep and was eaten alive by biting insects every single day. Seriously questioning our decision to buy a Spanish property at the moment. I would happily walk away from it if I could get the money back we have spent since January last year.

I'm dreading July here as well Michael as it is just too hot for me but I can honestly say we have no regrets in buying our place 2.5 years ago. We both feel much healthier here and enjoy the lifestyle and the friendliness of the people.
Hopefully you'll get to your property soon and feel better once you're here.
