I tried to place an order on amazon.es and all my cards got rejected. (uk cards)

then I used my home country card and they blocked my account require some unreasonable documentation I can't even get what they want.

The service is completely unsable unless you have a card that they like.

Perhaps even if you do, they still block you account and you have to provide paperwork in forms wich you bank does not have.

they require your name, your address, your phone, photo etc to be on the paperwork. which is unreasonable.

Impossible to make an order.  wtf.

Hello

Does anyone have any experience of ordering items from Amazon on line. I  am thinking of ordering some items and getting them delivered to my property. Any good or negative comments would be appreciated.

many thanks

I ordered some alloy wheeCenter caps on the 23rd of December and they still haven’t arrived 😳 they have offered me a €4 voucher but no information when I’ll get them.

Sometimes a bit hit and miss with delivery. Depends on who’s delivering mostly. If its a smallish item get it delivered to one of the lockers in Zena Boulevard shopping centre  next to Primark in toilet entrance.

Hello

I too, have moved to shopping on Amazon.es from 'co.uk,,3/4 times so far &. excellent service . I ordered 2 items last Thurs evening, confirmed Fri & delivered on Sunday morning & no delivery charge. I'm in a locked urbanisation, I get a call from the driver  & go out to the street to collect - same delivery driver (Amazon not SEUR)  SEUR never did this, just said I was 'not available'!!  It's working well for me.

Cheers

No problems with Amazon ordering, Spain or Germany sites.

I think SEUR will txt you, only if you have a Spanish mobile number p you can also sign up to their app.

To the guy with the bank cards...have you checked that they are still current, or have they expired ?

My husband had a problem with his card, kept getting a ‘needs updating’ message although card appeared to be valid.  On checking back through his Amazon orders, there was a purchase from Amazon Netherlands on his card which he hadn’t made.  The bank refunded the purchase amount which he’d cleared from his card, treated it as fraudulent, and replaced his card.  Maybe worth checking this hasn’t happened to you

Use a Spanish card or paypal.  We do it all the time.  Also Amazon.uk often deliver to Spain and you can pay with UK card.  This problem is not specific to Amazon, it is part of the unsolved Brexit issues.

I should also add that I placed an order with Amazon.co.uk last Friday, which was delivered by Correos today.

SEUR is the only delivery company with which I have had problems.   Their driver, on a couple of occasions, said that they could not gain entry or contact me as I was not in - I had been waiting in all day but no-one tried to contact me either via the door to the building in which I live or by text.   Otherwise, especially when packages come via Correos or Correos Express, I have had excellent service.
