...ate family.  I spend at least half of my time there, and half here in sunny Yorkshire.  Therefore I would say I have an interest in what goes on over there, just as much as here.  

That's not to say I will break any laws to suit my own ends - far from it.  I just question - just one more time then I will never mention it again - the logic of the police saying a person cannot drive his/her partner somewhere like the local supermarket because it flouts the "one in a car rule".  I presume such heinous law breaking also applies to the home as well. In other words sleep in separate rooms and do not UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES come within 2 metres of your lifelong partner in your own home.
