Hi,

We are not the best with Spainish bank accounts etc but generally we have always been quite happy with sabadell.....we had exactly the same thing a little while ago and couldn’t log onto our online account to pay some money in for bills etc and it kept saying we gave incorrect information....well the first phone call resulted in a promise of a call back with new security codes etc which didn’t happen.....so a few days later I rung again and this time spoke to a very fluent English speaking lad who sorted everything within two mins and we are all back on track etc and sorted!

I think like most things it depends on who you actually speak too and also catching them just right as well? I would say keep persevering and it will all right it’s self in the end ! Good luck !

Hi all, so my father in law called the bank last night and used option 1 for English speaking, then option 2 for internet banking. He spoke to 3 different people, he had to give his passport details and date of birth for security and they then reset his password for him. It took about an hour but it is all ok now!!
thanks for the advice

It's reassuring to hear that in these times of increasing online theft that Sabadell were so rigorous with their security.

Complaint Form

So I understand that if you ask for this form the business or institution is sometimes willing  to give you that form because if not they are afraid that the police will fine them.

So in case they  REFUSE to give you the form the police will fine them but HOW is your problem than going to be solved?

Is a complaint form also suitable for institutions like the Centro de Salud?

I have had some past problems with Sabadell on line banking.

My advice is  - Don't use a computer to sign in/ or access your Sabadell account.

Down load the Sabadell app onto your mobile phone and always just use this method.

You'll find it works much, much better.

Regards,

Jan..

Hi,

just for info, I've only ever used my laptop to access my Sabadell account, both from Spain and from the UK. When I switch locations they have a security procedure to use (code to my mobile) before I can access my account . I have never had any problems using on-line access for the 4 years I have had the Sabadell account.

The mobile app sounds useful so I might give it a try.

Hi there.

Well when doing certain transactions with Sabadell online bank, the bank ( in certain cases ) then sends you a code to your mobile phone, which you need to enter in order to progress with the transaction.

If your mobile phone has the latest Sabadell app installed....then all transactions seem to progress smoothly without any problems.

I found this out over a period of time by trial and error !

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Jan.

Thanks for that Jan. Our main banking is not done through Sabadell so the transaction types we do are limited, which may be why we have never had problems with the on-line service. We will give the mobile app a try.
