Hi Paula - I bought a holiday home 03184 last year - already had a broken water pipe and constant electricity blackouts but I fly in the face of

adversity and absolutely love it in Torrevieja - my probs have been fixed but I'm always on the lookout for a good handyman with a drill!

 - I return in May with my MUM -(she's 84 and still Line Dancing every night in the UK) - I've found a local Bar that she can join but am in dire

need of company to keep me sane while she shuffles round the dance floor

Hope to catch up soon

Linda

Hi Linda sounds like ya mum has a ball!!! Which bar in Torrevieja does she go to? Maybe I've been in it!?!?

We're hoping to go back in September!!!! Love it so much! It's a bit cooler that time but still hot hot hot!! 😊🏖🌞

La marina is beautiful too, in fact, it's all beautiful!! But am bias!! 😉👍🏻

Have fun in May!!

She can Line Dance at La Marina Pool Bar 03184 - they host it some weekday lunchtimes and Sat evenings

 - lovely wee pub attached to a large pool which is open to the public for 3.4 euros p/d - and they have Live Jazz on Tuesday evenings(table booking essential)

Take the plunge - Spanish properties are climbing in price and you'll kick yourself for not making the decision to buy while there's still room to negotiate !

I did it last year and have no regrets!

Hello piratestan, lovely to hear you're out n about and viewing places!! To be honest, when we did it, we went out for about 5 days, had lots to view with many different agents over those days, and it was the 3rd day, we walked into the house, it was old, dated, but, had lovely outside spaces over its 3floors, and totally fell in love!!! We continued to view the next few days, being shmoozed by agents, but, we couldn't forget the house, so, just agreed a price, but a deposit down, and the rest just followed!! Totally glad we did!! Like you ours is more a holiday place for now, with views of trying to work out when we can stay there for longer!!! It's our little bolt hole in the sun!! We have belongings there, toiletries there bought bikes etc and love it!!!

Good luck!!! Happy hunting xxx

We've just been, end of march, and it was still beautiful!! Warm in the day, need a cardigan at night, and sometimes a light jacket in the day/evening, but just nice!! We love having somewhere we know (in the sun) and it's a lovely base for us to go travelling around from. The people are lovely too!! We even have a go at the language 😉👌🏼

Good luck
