Hi Anne I have a 2 bedroom apartment for sale in Ciudad Quesada it’s a lovely place to live. English Belgium French Swiss German and Scandinavian live around here. It’s a very friendly place. The only reason for the sale is We’re moving to a larger house now we live here permanently. And we’re staying in Quesada. If you’re interested send a private message for details. Regards Ann

Hi Melissa, upon reading all the replies to your post, I have noticed that everyone is giving good advice but no kind of help. You come over to me as someone who needs a friend that could guide you, of course one who would only have your interest in mind. You definitely need a third party to discus things with. What you are contemplating is a big step and an even bigger step for a single person.  I have lived in Spain for almost twenty years  my wife and I never once regretted our more or indeed to where we bought our house. Sadly my wife passed away nearly three years ago and am now on my own with dog and a cat for company. I also have many good friends so basically I am only alone at night time. What I think that I am trying  to say is that you need someone to either agree with you or disagree with you, a friend could do that for you. There are some decisions  in life that just have to be mulled over, and one cannot do that on ones own. If you want to talk or even you should like to meet up when you come over next time, I would be only too pleased to help you  if I can. Take care, Len

Have a look at the Villamartin, Las Filipinas areas. There are a few houses for sale here - my neighbours are trying to sell their 2 bed house at around 100k- or apartments that are well cheap. It depends what you want. We have sea views (it's only 8 minutes by car to a beach) and 8 km as the crow flies to a beach. Loads of shops, bars/restaurants, a good mix of ex-pats and Spanish and between Murcia and Alicante airports.

Fire any questions you may have! Take care and good luck.

Gray

Thank you for your response I wish I could afford 100k  but more like 70k depending I have heard of playa flamencs and a couple of others near to there I have twin boys 26 nearly so I know I will need 2 bed place for sure 3 if poss   for when they visit. I have concerns with the brexit like most but I'm chomping at the bit to just get moved and not have work stress but I have to be patient for now until I can sell my house and  come over there for a look around but any advice is welcome and appreciated

Many thanks

Anita

Hi len not sure if that msg was for me but it's so nice that people on here are so kind. I'm so sorry for your loss  I recently lost my mum and its tough but I'm grateful that I had her for so long I also lost my pet at similar time so it was pretty difficult. But I hope that you are well and in good spirits  I appreciate your help and care  that you posted

Wishing you all the best.

I would wait until Brexit has been sorted out, then we will know what our position is, regarding medical care. At your age you will have to pay for Private medical care.

Exactly. Life is short and nobody knows when the big 'un is going to flick your switch. Don't go to the heavens (or wherever) full of regrets.
