Hello Dave, in some circumstances, when the property is straightforward and totally legal in every respect, this approach may work but there are too many properties which have problems to recommend this to everyone, as the OP is finding out.

And your point is ?? I'm just putting forward my personal experience like the others have done too , I've not recommended the op to do anything. 

Thank terry, yes we are hiring a car, this is also a new experience for us neither have driven on the other side of the road  before 😂

It’s surprising how easy you will take to it. On roundabouts indicate is my tip and look everywhere! You’ll see why when you get there.

@Terry - Roundabouts always makes me smile! Having worked on the UK Motorway network for a number of years I got sued to people saying Traffic Island as roundabouts sound like a piece of playground equipment... or conjures up images of Dougal and Zebedee et al of course!

Also for Sparks - Bulbs... they go in the ground! Lamps go in light fittings :o)

Oh my goodness .. we did it we only went and put a deposit down 😱😱😱😀 decided on Villamartin 😍

3 years ago we decided to come to villamartin to just have a look at what we could get and within a day of arriving had put a deposit down. Then spent 24 hours throwing up and distraught that I had done the wrong thing. Turned out to be the best decision ever -if you ever need advice or info about the area give me a shout-wish I had the info I’ve gained from this site when I was starting off-would have saved a fortune!

Hi ,, firstly don’t do anything until you have a solicitor,, we used Pablo in Torrevieja very good both ladies Christine and Tania are English,, they will advise you and sort NIE ,, Account ect ect for you ,, do all that before you buy of commit to anything,, would you like there number??
