It is hard to say where is best as we are all different in what we want. I have to be near the sea and able to look out on it.  In Torrevieja to suit you I would look at areas like La Mata village on the north of Torrevieja. It is flat and has a long walk by the sea from La Mata village righ...

...t up to Cabo Cervera. There is a supermarket, a church in a large village square, a chemist, a couple of bakeries and a couple of paper/tabac shops. There is a frequent bus service in and out of Torrevieja.  There are lots of Restaurants and bars.  In Torrevieja centre there is the southern end with Mar Azul and La Veleta on the sea side  with Playa de Las Naufragos. Across from them on Avenida Arregui you have the Health Centre  and on the sea side Playa del Acequion. Then Plaza Constitucion which houses the Town Hall and the parish church. In the town is the Port Area and Paseo de Vista Alegre which has the Night Market and keeping by the sea Paseo Maritimo Juan Aparicio with Playa del Cura. Around the corner still heading north is Playa Los Locos. If you get a map and study the areas back from the beaches it will give you an idea of how central they are. Have you thought about Benidorm. Good and lively favoured by the English and the Spanish alike. Property would be dearer there.

Torrevieja has a frequent direct bus service to and from the Bus Station to Alicante Airport 365 days a year

Hi Thanks for the reply

Look at Benidorm, plenty of mobility scooters about, the town is geared up for them, plenty of health centres ,everything you're looking for really,as an addition if you are a pensioner from Ireland there is the S1 system for health and you can get your pension paid into an account in Spain, all info online.
