Just put on water heater and all electricity is gone off tried trip switches and nothing is working anyone any ideas I know there wont be an electrical available on christmas day but I'm realy stuck now

Sounds like your element in the boiler may have gone causing the fusebox to trip so just unplug it and reboot the main fuse switch. If you need hot water you'll just have to boil some until you get the boiler seen to!

Thank you for replying I have done all this unfortunately still no electric might be a fuse maybe I have no idea no chance of getting any one to come today anyhow so not much I can do

Make sure all the fuse switches are up and then try moving the main switch up and down several times. If still not working then check the actual meter and push the green button. If still no joy then you will need an electrican and if you have home insurance you will be covered for an emergency call out....good luck!

My friend is a qualified electrician called Peter you can contact him on 611273845 your problem will be a bad earth on some appliance.
