It sounds like we are both in the same "boat" I am looking to sell my base down in  Torrevieja and buy a yacht to go back to sea as its in my blood having sailed a huge amount and crossed the Atlantic 6 times and spend loads of time in the Caribbean.Now with the Brexit three month rule its time to move on as I have no wish to take out Residencia being a true Brit !!.

I was looking for a trailer last week!! to take one of my cars back to the UK so what do you want for it?  I have seen down the road from me on the road side a Mercedes Sprinter SWB white in fair condition on Spanish plates if you want me to take a pic of the sale details for you i will.
 

i will be staying as i have residency now, as much as i love boats and the water in afraid my wife doesn't, yes that merc may do me fine, i would appreciate you taking some pics for me, any idea of the price and could you tell me where it's located, as for my trailer i paid £2300.00 for it then i put 2 new tyres, 4 brake cables, new brake shoes all round and the remote control winch, so i would like to get £2700.00 for it,

I think you know Vans in Spain are stupid money as is everything!!. I would like to get my money back. I paid 1850£ for it so the best offer will take it. I looked round pretty hard to find this one. Most are non runners at that price. I think anybody that buys it will get there money back when sold in the UK

i think you are talking to 2 people at the same time, are you asking about my iveco or the one for 1850e, are you after a spanish one or a uk one, i have not mentioned how much my one is.

I am the guy asking about your Merc/Ford/Iveco/Trailer/BMW and trying to find the owner of the Spanish Merc Sprinter for you, so not mixed up its just that this site is crap and confusing with loads of Google Ads, Bad Ai, and two much Cookies double answering, Look at my site I gave you and you will find I do not load it with stupid ads to give the viewer a pleasing experiance and user friendly. Up to two years ago before the virus I was building campers for the Brits and ran a good business, sourcing my vehicles in the trade [ vivaro/Traffic look on my website ]from the UK knowing lots of people in the trade, and like you I did the trip back to the UK for about four years and know every road stop and the costs, and that is the problem buying in Spain as nobody wants the cost of Road Tax/Insurance/Fuel/Tolls/food/Ferry /hotels to get the old girl back home, and you know your into circa £1500 all in and like me needing a quick turnaround not able to waits weeks for the tyre kickers to buy its would go back into the trade. I could ask all the tow rags questions about mileage/make/engine etc etc but to me I need to buy behind book to get out of it even, so I would be looking at around 500euros, and I know you are not happy but that is about the best you’re going to get in Spain unless you find a nice kind person. And I hope you do if not give me a ring 603664843

fair enough, not worth the bother to me, i will probably do another trip to the uk with it anyway, i will just break it when i get back, i paid that for the rear axle i put on it, plus the four new tyres, clutch, cam belt kit, new calliper and pads all round, i no you never get your money back but i think it is worth more than hat to me.

I know how you feel but it is part of the living experience in Spain, since Brexit it has gone worse and I have had to let my late wife’s  BMW 1.8ti that was in fantastic condition with a private plate worth £1k alone and the car booked at £2,5k . I made the mistake of holding on to it being so dear to me and placed it on Sorn, but when I looked at taking it back and having no MOT I had to risk the police pulling it in Spain or France having no Tax/MOT, very sad having to take 500euros. I have tried to sell cars/bikes/trailers/caravans all British in Spain and there is no way they want them due to Spanish legal. If you have an MOT on it get it back  to the UK, but even that is going to cost you one way £1500 then your return air fare? And you have to ask your self will it repay you for all the trouble, just what I did with the BMW and decided to just get rid of it.  

I did not have any problems with my camper businesses they were only made for the UK market and I had customers who would come down, buy and then have a little holiday taking it back home, or I built in the delivery/travelling expense in the price.

If you want to send me the spec, colour/year/mileage/LWB/SWB/ High Roof/Low Roof/MOT? / Body work condition/ and any repairs you have done on it. I will look at it.
