We do have to live with covid as its impossible to rid the world of it, virus's mutate 1000's of time.  There are no plans for the UK to give a 4th vacination to the general population. Only the only over 75's and clinically vulnerable people are getting the 4th jab.

Things in the EU will have to change as people who had their jabs early, means the 270 days will expire in the coming months.

With the world now in turmoil over Russia/Ukraine situation, the EU will have far more to fear than covid. If the Russians over- run the Ukraine they will not stop at the Ukraine border with the EU. Putin wants to restore the USSR, his empire.

As I have said many times the world has far too many mad power crazed men in charge of many countries. A war is on the horizon I regret to say.

What's not clear? I don't need to learn - because it is nothing new.
We live with flu whole life. And with many other illnesses. That's it.

Morning everyone

I would like some advice, please.

My partner and I (both living in Spain) had two doses of the vaccine in the UK (2nd dose in May 2021) and a booster in Brazil in December 2021. If we can’t get the booster jab added to the nhs covid pass, how can we re-enter Spain (we need to go to the UK next week)? Will either a pcr or antige test do the job?

Thank you

I think you will need a negative test before you travel to Spain if you can't get a booster added. You can contact the NHS to see if it can be added.

I've been thinking the same since this was announced, last I heard Spain is keeping this rule until 2023, but no talk about 4th jab.

From the Spanish Spth site
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
    • From 1 February 2022, this will be valid from 14 days after the date of administration of the last dose of the complete vaccination schedule and will be valid up to 270 days from the date of administration of that last dose.
    • Thereafter, in order to be valid, the vaccination certificate must reflect the administration of a booster dose. These certificates will be considered valid since the day the booster dose was administered.
