I am not sure if the vaccine status is "only".
It determines if you are let in or not.

And what "authorities" will decide in regards of a developement of the virus is another question.
I'm talking about the conditions we have at the moment.

And what we here have now is only a ...

...COMMENT of one EU official saying the time limit does not apply to booster jab.
What somebody said has no importance in European law. It is different than in the UK.
And so far I have not seen a piece of legislation clarifying straight that booster jab will last forever and having that you can cross the Spanish border.
Instead of that we have a regulation saying that 270 days from last vaccination covid passport (certificate) expires.

Stan,

read my post again, I did not say "only" in regards to vaccine status but in regards to my terminology.

As it stands at the moment you are right, but that will change in the coming months, as soon as it is clear how the virus is developing. You can either spend your time worrying about or just get on with life, I am doing the latter.

Aitch.

I think the governments are “ getting life back to some kind of normal”. They will no doubt be hoping there will be no need for a booster, only for the most vulnerable. Imho viruses tend to Learn to live With us, so don’t kill us any more. Unless people have serious underlying health problems . We will HAVE to learn to live with Covid, one way or another and Of Course boosters don’t last forever, that’s stupid and no one is saying that.  Here’s hoping we won’t have to have boosters.

They are saying that, at the moment your vaccine certification should be within 270 days but currently  there is no time limit to the booster vaccine so what is the problem?
Will you not be happy until they put a termination limit on the booster shot?
It’s quite plain that the world needs to get on and live with this virus, those that are vulnerable or worried will just have to shield themselves.
Get on and live & enjoy your life cos the alternative ain’t that attractive!

In the UK they are offering a 4th vaccination dose to those who are medically vulnerable, I assume your wife must have a medical condition that qualifies her for the 4th dose?

https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/coronavirus-vaccine-people-with-severely-weakened-immune-system/

In addition they have just decided to offer a 4th dose to those over 75, starting in the next couple of months.

Hi all.   While on the topic of travelling and what’s needed where.   I was wondering if anyone knows.    My daughters friend is possibly travelling with us to England, not been vaccinated.   Going into the Uk is ok.  Nothing is required. But coming back to Spain?   Does anyone know the rules please.   TIA. 😁

I will not be happy until they clearly say "the booster is valid by law forever. Having booster your covid certificate never expires" - or offer 4th dose if it won't be the case.

By the way - I don't need to learn to live with covid like it is normal. I am prepared to live like this.
I just want be able to cross the borders without any problems. Especially the one to Spain.

“By the way” ?  Until EVERYONE learns to live With Covid, a Corona Virus ( as the FLU is ) You won’t be “crossing “ any borders easily. You are a complete contradiction. I don’t know what you are getting at. If you are “prepared to live like this” then How on Earth can you expect it to be Easy to cross Borders  ! ?    Most people Welcome the World trying to get back to some kind of normal . You can live like this forever then, carry on lol.
