We got insurance through Rock Insurance and also I think Staysure which covers you and includes Covid 19.  If you already have insurance you could take out insurance for just this trip. Might be worth doing search of internet to find travel insurers who cover you for Spain plus Covid 19.&nbs...

...p;

We came back to our home in Spain last week and couldn't find anyone to cover is for the 3 months we're here.

There is an insurance company called BattleCry and you can get insurance with them.  It is expensive and more so if you are over 59 but possible.  We have just read that Staysure is going to start providing insurance but this was an article we read recently.  Insurance is currently invalid if  the Foreign Office say not to travel in a country.  Upto the end of December 2020 the EHIC card will give you medical cover in Europe.

 Battleface does cover for travel even if against the advice of the FCO.

Sorry Battleface.  Well my friend got insurance for herself, her daughter and husband 2 weeks ago for a 2 week stay in Lanzarote, she is 63.

If you have a Nationwide FlexPlus bank account and you are under 70 you can have travel insurance which will cover you against FCO advise and full medical cover and repatriation, you won’t be covered for cancellation and curtailment tho, you also get car breakdown and home start along with mobile phone insurance for £13 a month and that’s for joint cover.

This isn’t entirely accurate. We pay for a monthly travel pack with Barclays. Prior to travelling Barclays confirmed that we were covered in every eventuality, including anything COVID related. We’re half way into a two week holiday and having a great time.
